The (Extended) Hangover: Westbrook Ties Milestone and Warriors Keep Winning

This is the Hangover. This is where I get drunk on the NBA as I recap last night’s action as well as a few things going on around the league. Here’s your word vomit.

I’ll have more words tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s a bit of a recap from what’s happened the last few days. Scores, statlines, and videos are all you’ll get. Will be back with a regular hangover tomorrow.

CLIFFNOTES

*Cleveland, of course, shows they’re actually invulnerable after beating the tar out of Boston.
*Lance Stephenson doing a lay-up with the game already in hand is hilarious to me. We know the unwritten rule to let the clock out but, honestly, it doesn’t bug me that much. I wouldn’t do it but if I was on the other team, I probably wouldn’t make it a huge deal.
*Laker fans are so angry whenever their team wins. Come on. It’s okay to actually WIN?
*I love that 5-8 for the East are still not settled with a week left in the season.
*The Raptors got Kyle Lowry back. And they’re now third in the East. Hmmmm.
*It’s amazing that the Warriors have won 65 games for three straight seasons.
*Russell Westbrook got those 41 triple-doubles after rattling off seven straight. The funny thing is that he fell one rebound short last night against Memphis. He only needs six assists left (should he play all the games) for a guaranteed triple-double season. Incredible.
