This is the Hangover. We get basketball-wasted all the time. Yes, we recap the NBA every night in our own way.

Been real busy personally. I’m just going to give you a condensed version of the past two days.

THE GAMES

DETROIT PISTONS 96 (28-29) @ CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 88 (40-15)

LeBron James had an awful game. And, sometimes, that’s all the opponents need.

Andre Drummond (DET): 16 pts, 15 rebs.
Kyrie Irving (CLE): 30 pts, 5 assts.
Kevin Love (CLE): 24 pts, 7 rebs.

INDIANA PACERS 93 (30-26) @ MIAMI HEAT 101 (32-24) (OT)

Monta Ellis missed a free throw late that could’ve won the game. The Heat then went on to outscore the Pacers, 13-5, in the extra period.

BEHIND THE LINES
Hassan Whiteside (MIA): 19 pts, 18 rebs, 6 blks.
Justise Winslow (MIA): 15 pts, 7 rebs, 4 stls.

Luol Deng (MIA): 13 pts, 16 rebs.
Paul George (IND): 31 pts, 11 rebs, 3 stls.

TORONTO RAPTORS 122 (37-18) @ NEW YORK KNICKS 95 (24-34)

Stay liking questionable material, coach Kurt Rambis.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 102 (50-5) @ ATLANTA HAWKS 92 (31-27)

It was another day in the office for the fire-breathing MVP.

Draymond Green (GS): 6 pts, 14 rebs, 9 assts.
Stephen Curry (GS): 36 pts, 6 rebs, 8 assts, 3 stls.

Al Horford (ATL): 23 pts, 16 rebs, 6 assts, 5 blks.

LOS ANGELES LAKERS 101 (11-47) @ MILWAUKEE BUCKS 108 (24-33)

Even though the final score was close, the Bucks led the Lakers by 25 going into the fourth. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a triple-double that wrecked the Lakers.

BEHIND THE LINES
Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL): 27 pts, 12 rebs, 10 assts, 4 blks, 3 stls.
Nick Young (LAL): 19 pts.

BOSTON CELTICS 122 (33-25) @ MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES 124 (18-39)

We know the Wolves are horrid at home and they nearly lost a 10-point lead a minute and a half left in the game. Marcus Smart missed a game-winner that could’ve completed a miraculous comeback but the puppies held on.

BEHIND THE LINES
Gorgui Dieng (MIN): 17 pts, 12 rebs.
Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN): 28 pts, 13 rebs.
Jae Crowder (BOS): 27 pts, 9 rebs.

DeAndre Jordan (LAC): 17 pts, 11 rebs, 4 blks.

And next night’s games…

02/24/2016

ORLANDO MAGIC 124 (25-30) @ PHILADELPHIA 76ERS 115 (8-48)

The Magic increased their lead to double digits in the fourth and the Sixers didn’t have enough firepower… well, of course, they didn’t.

BEHIND THE LINES
Nikola Vucevic (ORL): 35 pts, 9 rebs.
Aaron Gordon (ORL): 11 pts, 11 rebs, 3 stls.

Ish Smith (PHI): 22 pts, 5 assts.

NEW ORLEANS PELICANS 89 (22-34) @ WASHINGTON WIZARDS 109 (26-29)

The Pelicans wished Anthony Davis followed up his 59-point performance with another epic game. He equaled his board total from his previous contest with 20 but he was hounded all game by the Wizards as he only scored 9 points. Wiz took advantage and blew them out.

BEHIND THE LINES
John Wall (WAS): 16 pts, 12 rebs, 11 assts.
Marcin Gortat (WAS): 21 pts, 11 rebs.
Jrue Holiday (NO): 20 pts, 7 assts.

SACRAMENTO KINGS 114 (24-31) @ DENVER NUGGETS 110 (22-35)

Boogie Cousins made two free throws and a putback to give the Kings a four-point lead with 14 seconds left. It was too little too late for the Nuggets by then.

BEHIND THE LINES

Rudy Gay (SAC): 16 pts, 10 rebs, 3 blks, 4 stls.
Will Barton (DEN): 18 pts, 6 rebs.
Nikola Jokic (DEN): 13 pts, 13 rebs, 6 assts.

HOUSTON ROCKETS 114 (28-29) @ UTAH JAZZ 117 (28-28) (OT)

Gordon Hayward split his free throws, which gave the Rockets a chance being only down three. Jason Terry made a three to tie to send the game to OT. In the OT, the Jazz led by three again but this time, Trevor Ariza and Terry couldn’t sink the game-tying three. Rockets drop out of the top eight in the West.

BEHIND THE LINES
Rodney Hood (UTA): 18 pts, 5 assts, 5 stls.
Gordon Hayward (UTA): 28 pts, 7 rebs, 5 assts.
Derrick Favors (UTA): 19 pts, 12 rebs, 3 blks.
