2021 NBA Playoff Hangover (Day 26): Top Seeds Get Stunned in Their Game 5s

Hawks made a huge comeback while the Clippers without Kawhi had steely determination, leaving the top seeds shocked.

The Brooklyn Nets probably had no business winning Game 5. But Durant’s 49-17-10 pushed them to this remarkable victory.

The Atlanta Hawks turned it up in the second half and tie their series with the Sixers.

Chris Paul had 37 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a sweep of the Denver Nuggets.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George combined for 65 points as the Clippers took Game 3 from the Jazz.

The Suns once again plow the Nuggets. They’re one win away from a sweep of Denver.

Bucks win a game after a grind-it-out effort against the high-powered Nets.

The Phoenix Suns won going away again against the Denver Nuggets. They take a 2-0 series lead.

The Clippers had a golden opportunity to steal Game 1 but the Jazz were able to fend them off in Utah.

The Brooklyn Nets destroyed the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2. That might be an understatement.

Trae Young and the Hawks went into Philly to wreck and pillage. Also, Mavs/Clippers ended in a wimper.

The Nets lost James Harden in the first minute of the game. But they got an inspired Blake Griffin performance in their Game 1 win.

The Nets, Bucks, Sixers, Hawks, Suns, Nuggets, Jazz, and either the Mavs or Clippers scramble for a Conference Finals spot.

Kawhi Leonard scored 45 points to extend this Mavs/Clippers series to 7 games. All wins have been on the road.

Denver and Phoenix won their respective Game 6s and eliminate the Blazers and Lakers.
