This is the Hangover. We get basketball-wasted all the time. Yes, we recap the NBA every night in our own way.

Not too much going on in the league because of NFL conference title games. But, hey, these four games still went on.

THE GAMES

DALLAS MAVERICKS 104 (25-21) @ HOUSTON ROCKETS 115 (24-22)

A barrage of threes killed the Mavs’ vibe in the fourth quarter. While handsome Chandler Parsons had 31 points to keep Dallas alive, Trevor Ariza countered back with 29 points while James Harden did the Ice Cube thing that everyone says.

BEHIND THE LINES
Trevor Ariza (HOU): 29 pts, 3 stls.
James Harden (HOU): 23 pts, 15 rebs, 10 assts.
Chandler Parsons (DAL): 31 pts, 6 rebs.
Salah Mejri (DAL): 10 pts, 11 rebs, 3 blks.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 94 (28-16) @ TORONTO RAPTORS 112 (29-15)

The Clippers, still without Blake Griffin, carried a 34-27 lead into the first. But Team Canada erased that deficit with a 17-1 run to start the second. From there, the Clips never got closer than four points and T Dot won their eighth straight game.

BEHIND THE LINES
Kyle Lowry (TOR): 21 pts, 6 assts.
Jonas Valanciunas (TOR): 20 pts, 8 rebs.
Terrence Ross (TOR): 18 pts, 4 stls.
DeAndre Jordan (LAC): 15 pts, 13 rebs.
Chris Paul (LAC): 23 pts, 11 assts.

BOSTON CELTICS 112 (24-21) @ PHILADELPHIA 76ERS 92 (6-39)

You do know what kind of team the Sixers are, right?

BEHIND THE LINES
Isaiah Thomas (BOS): 20 pts.
Jae Crowder (BOS): 20 pts.
Robert Covington (PHI): 25 pts, 8 rebs.

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER 106 (33-13) @ BROOKLYN NETS 116 (12-33)

The Thunder never seemed to have a counter for Brook Lopez. OKC never led in this game, which is amazing considering their opponent. The Nets upset the Thunder and halted their seven-game win streak.

BEHIND THE LINES
Thaddeus Young (BRK): 14 pts, 14 rebs.
Brook Lopez (BRK): 31 pts, 10 rebs.
Russell Westbrook (OKC): 27 pts, 11 rebs, 7 assts.
Kevin Durant (OKC): 32 pts, 10 rebs, 7 assts.

THE TAKEAWAY

Toronto doesn’t have the longest win streak in the league; San Antonio does at 13.

In a classic Gregg Popovich maneuver, Tim Duncan is sitting out their game against the Warriors. And it’s a win-win for San Antonio. If they lose, they have an out because Duncan is sitting out. If they win, they can say they can beat the Warriors even without all their guys.

And if you don’t think Tim Duncan affects the Spurs right now, I have no idea if you actually watch basketball.

With the roll Toronto has been as of late, THEY are the ones breaking out of the pack in the East. They’re only two games behind on Cleveland now and 3.5 ahead of both Chicago and Atlanta.

Anyway, even without Tim Duncan, let’s enjoy a possible Game of the Year.
