This is the Hangover. We get basketball-wasted all the time. Yes, we recap the NBA every night in our own way.

The NBA fed us three games for Monday. Some championship game in another sport is going on or something.

THE GAMES
SAN ANTONIO SPURS 106 (33-6) @ BROOKLYN NETS 79 (10-28)

I just talked about the mess Brooklyn had. Twice. They needed a prayer to all the gods, a miracle, to lock all the star players (and Pop) in some secluded room in the Barclays Center, and some Gummi Berri juice. THEN MAYBE they would’ve stood a chance against this basketball machine called the San Antonio Spurs.
Obviously, none of that happened.
BEHIND THE LINES
LaMarcus Aldridge (SA): 25 pts, 11 rebs.
Brook Lopez (BRK): 18 pts, 5 rebs.
WASHINGTON WIZARDS 114 (17-19) @ CHICAGO BULLS 100 (22-14)
The Wizards led for most of the game. The Bulls tried to stampede back and cut the deficit to four but Washington went on a 13-2 run to close the deal in Chicago. So much for the Bulls trying to break away in the East.
BEHIND THE LINES
John Wall (WAS): 17 pts, 5 rebs, 10 assts, 3 stls.
Drew Gooden (WAS): 10 pts, 12 rebs.
Derrick Rose (CHI): 23 pts.
Pau Gasol (CHI): 15 pts, 10 rebs.
MIAMI HEAT 103 (22-16) @ GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 111 (36-2)
The Heat kept it close against the Warriors before the reigning, defending champions finally got away in the fourth quarter. Andre Iguodala and Stephen Curry made three-pointers that put Golden State up double digits. Dubs are now 36-2.
BEHIND THE LINES
Stephen Curry (GS): 31 pts, 6 assts.
Draymond Green (GS): 22 pts, 12 rebs, 6 assts.
Luol Deng (MIA): 14 pts, 10 rebs.
Dwyane Wade (MIA): 20 pts, 6 rebs, 11 assts.
Chris Bosh (MIA): 15 pts, 12 rebs.
GETTING SOCIAL
The Spurs defense is insane to watch live. Their communication is incomparable to anything I’ve seen this year. No surprise, of course.

The Heat DOES have the talent to beat the Warriors if Whiteside plays and we commit less turnovers. Excited to see the rematch on our court

I think i hate the Wizards more than I hate the Cavs.

Good news for #Nets is they don't have to play the Warriors or Spurs again this season.

WATCH THIS PLAY
The Spurs are not known for their high-flying but Jonathon Simmons shows that he can do just that.

THE TAKEAWAY
Raptors are now officially #2 in the East. Again, so much for the Bulls breaking away. They’ve lost two in a row after that six-game win streak.
It’s ridiculous how the Warriors and the Spurs keep winning. No other team in the West can gain ground because of this. The Spurs are playing tonight so they’ll be on a back-to-back. But then they also smashed the Nets so they’re not that beat up going into their game against Detroit.
Lastly, Stephen Curry had a -3 in the +/- stat. That’s the first game he has done that THIS SEASON. Amazing.
