This is the Hangover. We get basketball-wasted all the time. Yes, we recap the NBA every night in our own way.

The NBA is back from the All-Star break. They’re taking it slow, though, as only three games were scheduled on Thursday.

THE GAMES

UTAH JAZZ 89 (26-27) @ WASHINGTON WIZARDS 103 (24-28)

The Jazz couldn’t take care of the ball as they turned the ball over 23 times. You’re not going to win very many games with that stat. Marcin Gortat and John Wall had double-doubles to take care of the Jazz.

BEHIND THE LINES
Marcin Gortat (WAS): 22 pts, 10 rebs, 5 blks.
John Wall (WAS): 17 pts, 6 rebs, 11 assts, 4 stls.
Gordon Hayward (UTA): 19 pts, 5 rebs.
Rudy Gobert (UTA): 16 pts, 12 rebs.

CHICAGO BULLS 95 (27-26) @ CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 106 (39-14)

No Jimmy Butler and the Bulls were already having problems as is, health-wise. LeBron James nearly got a triple-double and Kevin Love had an excellent game after going through those trade rumors. The Cavs are easily still the class of the East.

BEHIND THE LINES
LeBron James (CLE): 25 pts, 9 rebs, 9 assts.
Kevin Love (CLE): 15 pts, 15 rebs.
Tristan Thompson (CLE): 16 pts, 10 rebs, 3 stls.
Derrick Rose (CHI): 28 pts, 7 rebs.
Bobby Portis (CHI): 13 pts, 10 rebs.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS 86 (45-9) @ LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 105 (36-18)

The Spurs didn’t have Kawhi Leonard and it showed how much they missed him. They couldn’t get it going behind the arc and the Clippers took the opportunity to build a double-digit lead in the third quarter. Nice momentum-builder for the Clips to start the second half of the season.

BEHIND THE LINES
Chris Paul (LAC): 28 pts, 5 rebs, 12 assts.
DeAndre Jordan (LAC): 9 pts, 17 rebs.
Tony Parker (SA): 14 pts.

DeAndre Jordan left Danny Green with envy. This is one hell of a facial.
