TNT has revealed the All-Star starters as voted by the fans. Here are the players that are starting in the midseason classic in Toronto.

WESTERN CONFERENCE
(F) Kobe Bryant (Lakers)
(F) Kawhi Leonard (Spurs)
(F) Kevin Durant (Thunder)
(G) Russell Westbrook (Thunder)
(G) Stephen Curry (Warriors)

EASTERN CONFERENCE
(F) LeBron James (Cavaliers)
(F) Paul George (Pacers)
(F) Carmelo Anthony (Knicks)
(G) Dwyane Wade (Heat)
(G) Kyle Lowry (Raptors)

I’m mixed about Kobe Bryant making the team. If we’re going by his play this season, he definitely doesn’t deserve it. But he is a definition of a star in this league. He’s still one of the most popular players in the world. It would’ve been easier if they just made a 13th roster spot like they did in 1992 for Magic Johnson.

No real surprises here. I guess my only surprise is that this is Kawhi Leonard‘s first time in the game. And if you’re surprised to see Kyle Lowry on here, remember that he was voted in by the fans last season, too. But Lowry is having a career season and he deserves to be on there. The Toronto crowd should be stoked. Also, good to see Paul George back in there.

The reserves should be announced next week.
